New Patients
NORTH YORK NEW PATIENTS
We are always interested in new patients. Because we are a family dental practice, we want to treat everyone in your family with a complete and thorough experience.
That is why we have put together this information page. If have any other questions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to ask. We want everyone who comes through our doors to feel comfortable and welcome.
Administrative Staff
If you are trying to organize your first visit with us, our administrative staff are ready to be helpful. Bringing on new patients is a cornerstone of everything we do. Adding another name to our list of satisfied clients is always a priority. We want everyone to understand that we feel like we add a new member to our dental office in the North York family every time we take on a new patient.
The process is hassle-free and simple. Our helpful and friendly staff will get to know you through a phone call and some information that will help us cater to your needs on your first visit.
Feel Welcome
When you arrive, our administrative staff member will make you feel welcome, letting you know that we value every individual who comes through our door.
We are extremely proud of the fact that we have an excellent team of dedicated professionals to serve you.
Dental Team
If you are in for a visit with the dentist first, the next team member that you will meet is the dental assistant. These are the professionals who work closely with the dentist in the Operatory. Keep in mind that everyone who works at our dental facility is dedicated to making sure your needs are met. We always encourage new patients to ask any questions and take their time because we want them to be comfortable.
After meeting our Dental support team, you will then meet your Dentist who will review your dental and medical history. We might ask you to take some digital X-rays so that our dental team can get a clear picture of your past and present clinical history. We may also advise the dental assistant to do a full dental scan using our latest Primescan dental scanner to get as detailed as possible. Once these experts take a few moments to look at your x-rays and or dental scans, they will be able to put together a dental plan that is specially fitted to your particular needs.
Whether you need routine maintenance work or something more, our experienced team will walk you through the process so everything is clear and easily understood. Once the dentist's comprehensive examination is complete, the patient will be presented with treatment options, if applicable. You will be given the chance to ask questions during this time. Once the visit is complete and you are dismissed, the treatment coordinator will then communicate the next step.
It is optimal and essential to our practice that we utilize every technological advance possible to give our patients a comprehensive understanding using our digital visual aids. We strive to give the patient a full picture of their current dental health which is the reason behind this particular part of the meet and greet.
If your appointment is with the Dental Hygienist, you will be educated and guided about the importance of your routine oral health while receiving a comprehensive hygiene care session with one of our experienced Registered Dental hygienists. Once again, we encourage everyone who is a new patient to take their time getting acquainted with this professional. We hope that you will forge a long-lasting relationship with our dental team that will last for years.
A Few Moments
All through the process, we encourage new patients to ask any questions. It doesn’t matter whether they are educational or financial. We are glad to hear about any concerns you might have. That’s one of the reasons that you’ll come full circle at the end of your visit and meet with the treatment coordinator who will have the chance to go over the information and services you have received while allowing you to ask questions and gain clarification about anything you may have a further question about. We are here to help!
